World of Waves surf-house is located in the village of Taghazout, at 20km from Agadir. The villa is beachfront and in the very heart of the village.
Agadir is served by direct flights from most of main European airports.
Once arrived in Agadir airport, there is a 45minute drive. If you chose the airport transfer option in your package, you will be picked up there at your arrival (don’t forget to let us know your flight details at least 24 hours before your arrival)
Otherwise you can also take a taxi from the airport for around 200 – 300 dhs to the surfhouse.
If your flight ois to Marrakech you can take a bus, we recommend CTM or Supratours (3 hour journey).
For any visits for less or equal to three months, a valid passport is required. For European passport holders, you do not require a visa to enter Morocco (tourist purposes). For non-European passport holders, please contact the Moroccan embassy of your country of residence.
Your passport should not expire within the next six months.
In the plane you will usually be given a customs for to fill in before arrival. You will need to indicate the address of you stay. Our address is the following, World of Waves: Villa Tizniti, Front de mer, Douar Taghazout, Taghazout
Any valid international driving licence. By careful to carry your driving-licence with you at all times when driving, as you will be regularly crossing police checkpoints.
Renting a car provides you with more freedom, especially if you would like to visit the surroundings on your own. But its not mandatory as we organize for you the transfer to the surf spots and some activities outside surfing (paradise valley visit, massage & hamman, souk visit amongst others).
If you stay with us on a B&B basis, you may want to be more flexible. In any case do not hesitate to contact us before so we can help you take the right decision, and can arrange the car hire for you at competitive prices.
Children of all age are welcome. We provide you with baby cot bed if required. Please note that we do not have specialized child-care’s facilities though.
The Moroccan currency is the Moroccan Dirham. Exchange rates early December 2016 were around 12.7 dh to the £1, 10.65 dh to the € and 10.20dhs to the $
Dirhams can only be obtained within Morocco, in exchange facilities or ATMs. You will find those easily in the airport, or in Agadir. There is no ATM in Taghazout, the nearest is Aourir (banana village), located at five minute drive from Taghazout. Please note that many ATMs in Morocco do not accept Maestro. We recommend you to bring your Mastercard or VISA card if you have one.
